The K Family is back! My, how their sweet kids have grown. They captured the prefect family photos with water in Littleton, Colorado! They played, splashed, and created family memories that will last a lifetime!
I last saw them for a fall session a few years back. What an honor to have them in front of my camera again, but this time in the late spring (it’s almost summer!). Little brother (not so little anymore) was all about making suggestions for poses. And big sister had a beautiful sparkle in her eyes. I told them I was ready to update my example pictures for this location and couldn’t wait to feature their family session here. They delivered! Those smiles! And their love and laughter! Couldn’t have been any more perfect.

How old are your kiddos?
They are 9 and 7.
What does your family enjoy doing together?
Puzzles, escape rooms, museums, movies, sporting events (especially when Michael’s team from St. Louis or Karissa’s teams from Chicago are in town), Carter’s football games, Charlotte’s climbing club, going on walks and hikes with our dog Sawyer, Friday night pizza nights, ice cream, board games, building Legos, watching our favorite TV shows (Survivor, AGT, Bones), going swimming at our neighborhood pool, going out for lunch and dinners and vacations to cool places like a Caribbean cruise or grandma and grandpas house.
What makes you guys laugh together?
We love to make up games at the dinner table. We’ll “draft” our favorite pizza toppings, movies, or ice cream flavors, etc. and nobody can have the same list. The kids always have a joke for us. And it’s usually a fart joke.
What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?
We’re a pretty tight crew and we always find something to do together. We find joy in the little things, even if it’s a small shopping trip on a Sunday afternoon.
Describe what your family means to you.
It’s amazing that we get to watch our dreams come true every day. We always wanted a family and we have two of the funniest, smartest, sweetest kids. Our family is the four of us learning and growing together everyday, sharing the unconditional love that binds us.
