Does your home give you a sense of love and family, even if you haven’t remodeled like you’ve always wanted to and even if, perhaps, you feel somewhat neutral about your decor?
Then the answer is yes!

Then the answer is of course, yes, yes, yes!!
Newer homes tend to work well if you have large windows and a lot of natural light. Older homes that have smaller windows can be a bit more challenging as far as light is concerned. However, it may still work! It can be helpful to have you send me a few pictures of the inside of your home if you’re unsure.
For those with darker homes, an indoor studio is a great alternative!
Do you recommend at home photo shoots for your repeat clients?
Yes! In fact, it’s ideal for my repeat clients who have done many outdoor sessions with me and are looking for something new. It’s also great for brand new clients who are drawn to this style of photography.
What time of day will we photograph?
Indoor sessions are more flexible when it comes to the time of day we photograph than if you were to choose an outdoor session. Generally, a morning, mid-day, or early afternoon works well. However, we will want to consider the best lighting time in your home when deciding, and the best time for your kiddos.
If you have young kids and the typical outdoor session time right before sunset is challenging for them, moving your session indoors is a great alternative to consider!
What else should I consider?
That’s it! Picture the laughter that will ensue when your family has a feather pillow fight on the bed, the way the kids will light up to have a popcorn war on the couch, or the snuggles of your little one with mom or dad, sitting on the living room floor. These kind of images will melt your heart every singe day when you see them on your walls.
