The more kids, the more love to go around! Meet the G Family! They are a large family with beautiful children, gorgeous parents and a photographer mama! I admired her work from afar for quite some time before we got coffee one day and became friends. It’s so special to have friends that really get you. Anyone else want to talk studio lighting with me? <wink> We shared a connection from that day on, and I’m grateful to have her as a peer and a friend! Here’s more about this adorable family!
What is one of your favorite family vacations?
We actually just returned from Nebraska where we visited family. We love the fresh air, the time to unplug and just ‘be.’ We also really love Puerta Vallarta. We’ve been twice and can’t wait to go back!
What does your family enjoy doing together?
Now that we have a few college kids, we love any opportunity to just be together, all seven of us! That typically involves a vacation of some sort, but also just dinners where we are all together. We also love game night (any type of game…. and pickleball)!
What makes you guys laugh together?
I love sitting back and watching my kids laugh and have a good time together. All five kids have their own humor and own way of making each other laugh. Typically dancing around the house or inside jokes make us all laugh!
What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?
Hmm… I’d have to say “fullness.” As the kids are leaving the nest, it won’t be this full ever again, or at least in this same way. S leaves for college in a year so I’m really savoring having most of us still at home and G not too far away.
Describe what your family means to you.
My family is literally my whole world and can’t imagine a world without them in it. The last 24 years with my husband growing our family has been the best years of my life. I love being a Mom… it’s my favorite name! I am so proud of these kids and am so grateful God chose me to be their Mama. They are absolutely amazing.
