Meet precious Aviana! This family is back for their second newborn session with me, and I’m elated with excitement for them to be celebrating a new addition to their family. You can look back on their first daughter’s newborn session here and their family session last fall here. Mom told me at their fall session that they were expecting a new baby. I was so excited since their initial thoughts were to have only one. It’s been a challenging road for them, so the fact that little Aviana is here means the world to this family.

Tell me about the anticipation of Aviana’s arrival.
We will have been married seventeen years this summer. We had to go through the IVF process to get both of our daughters. Our first daughter was born a little over two years ago and we were fortunate enough to have another successful transfer. The pregnancy was difficult with several different complications and we did not think she would make it so we are overjoyed that she is here and healthy. God has truly blessed our family beyond measure.
How was your delivery experience?
She was a C-section, so it’s been a completely different experience from our first daughter.
What does adding Aviana to your family of three mean to you?
We finally feel that our family is complete!
Describe her personality.
She is very laid-back and calm, unless it’s time to eat, then she will make sure you know it.
How much did she weigh at birth?
She was six pounds, ten ounces and twenty inches long.
