Anniversary Pictures in Parker, Colorado | E & J

The way E spun J around while they danced to “their song” had their daughter in tears as she and J’s sister watched a beautiful moment unfold at E & J’s anniversary session.  E had a surprise “re-proposal” for J, and took his knee to ask for her hand in marriage once again.  The words shared were only heard by E & J, which had us onlookers basking in only their expressions of commitment and love as the music played.  Join me in wishing E & J an early happy anniversary!  They are celebrating it with these beautiful pictures and an exciting upcoming trip.

Here’s more from J:

How many years have you been married and how are you celebrating your upcoming anniversary?

We will be married thirty years on January 22, 2024. We have planned a trip to Europe that is delayed until end of 2024 or June of 2025 depending on approved vacation days.

Where did you meet?

We met in the bar where E worked at the time in Lynnwood, Washington, I walked in one night, he noticed me and stole me away from the guy I was dating at the time.

What makes you guys laugh together?

We laugh at silly things, nothing in particular, just things that cause us to both laugh. It can be seeing something silly or one of us saying or doing something goofy.

What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?

That we know each other so well now, we trust and respect each other. We truly are there to lift the other up and no longer worry about the dumb things that caused us to worry early in our marriage.

Describe what your anniversary celebrations mean to you.

Past anniversaries were spent celebrating just the two of us. Remembering where we were and what we were like when we were younger. Now we look forward to celebrating what life has given us together.

Happy anniversary, E & J!  May the Lord continue to keep you close to Him and one another.
