Meet the L Family! I adore that they entrusted me with the honor of capturing such a special time in their lives. “Papa” lives with them, so naturally he needed to be a part of these pictures too. Little M is two, almost three, and has all the energy and intrigue that you would expect at his age. I love their interactions with him!

How old is your little guy?
He’ll be three in late December.
What does your family enjoy doing together?
We’re huge nerds, and so we love tabletop gaming (even the little one!) and we even dedicate an entire day every year to watching the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy while eating like Hobbits.
What makes you guys laugh together?
Wordplay – especially since my son is really hitting his stride with communicating his feelings and asking questions about the world. Sometimes he makes observations that just leave us rolling.
What is one thing as you look back on this session and season of life that you don’t want to forget?
That there were so many moments of genuine joy and laughter. Jamie put us so much at ease with her and each other so that our humor was able to shine through.
Describe what your family means to you.
My family is everything to me! They’re my reason for getting up every day and trying to be better than I was the day before.
