Senior Pictures to Adore in Highlands Ranch, Colorado | Juno

Meet Juno!  One of the things I loved most about this session was just getting to know Juno!  Juno has a love for reading and writing, so naturally, the fact that she is writing novels intrigues me, and makes me really excited to hear about such creativity and potential.

Here’s more about Juno!

Tell me about your writing.

I’ve been writing recreationally for about eight years now. I began with sort of nonsense dead-end fantasy plots, but over time, all the reading I’ve done inspired me and helped me to refine my writing style into something I was proud of. These days my forte is the thriller/romance genre, often set in a historical time period such as Victorian England, America and Korea in the 1920s-30s, or France in the late 1880s amidst the Exposition Universelle. Currently, I’m working on a psychological thriller romance novel about a serial killer, which I’m having a lot of fun with.

Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?

I’ve been looking at colleges for criminology and forensics. I’ve always been interested in psychology and the like, so I’m excited at the prospect of being able to study something that I’m passionate about.

What will you miss about high school?

I think I’ll miss the freedom. It probably sounds strange, but I’ve fallen into a steady routine with school and such, and I imagine that I’ll be a lot busier in the real world. Also, considering I’m planning on going to college out-of-state, I likely will not be able to see my friends as much.

Tell me one thing you hope to accomplish your senior year.

Honestly, just to finish the year. Preferably with good grades, but at this point, simply graduating seems like a pretty good goal to keep in mind.

Juno, I hope it’s a great year!  Enjoy your sneak peek.
