Although they now live in two different parts of the country, the place they raised their children will always be home. Meet the S Family! They gathered for a special occasion: to celebrate their lives, their memories, and their love for one another. Their home in Parker, Colorado holds so many memories of their children’s growing up years, so it was more than fitting to have their family session there. Plus, I love how beautiful their property is!

How often do you get to see everyone?
We are very fortunate that we get to see our adult children as often as we do, even with our daughter and her husband and our son living in Texas. My husband and I are both from Texas, so we go back frequently to visit extended family. Plus our daughter and son are teachers and so they get to spend some time in Colorado during the summer and school breaks.
What does your family enjoy doing together?
We enjoy camping, watching movies, and just hanging out.
What makes you guys laugh together?
Our daughter, her husband, and our son keep us laughing.
What is one thing about this season of life that you don’t want to forget?
We wanted to capture the area/home where we raised our children. Not knowing when we will flip the page to the next chapter and move we wanted to capture the memories of sitting on the patio where many conversations took place, the front steps where we would sit and wave to neighbors, the backyard parties, and the open space behind our home that provided the nature and privacy we loved about this area.
Describe what your family means to you.
Everything! My husband and I were raised in a very small close community where friends and family were everything. Our kids are very close to that community as well where we still have many friends and family members living there. My husband and I hope to move back one day.
