Meet precious Owen! He’s ADORABLE! A perfectly rounded 8 pounds at birth, he’s healthy, sweet, and has a healthy set of lungs. I wouldn’t know this, because he was just as content as could be for his newborn session, but I trust mom when she says it. Oh the joy a new life brings. Owen also has a miracle story, and I’m just delighted Mom included it for you all.

Describe your pregnancy.
My pregnancy was a rollercoaster of emotions. We found out at twenty-five weeks that Owen had a brain hemorrhage and we were told he could have major neurological problems. Through many prayers and a miracle, his brain bleed subsided over time and we are extra thankful to have a healthy baby boy! Owen was apparently very cozy and we were induced the day after his due date.
Where did you deliver and tell me a little about the day he was born.
We delivered at Skyridge Medical Center. I was induced in the evening and actively labored for 15 hours. Daddy was by far the best support I could have asked for and helped me through each contraction and when I got an epidural. Owen was born after five quick pushes and we fell in love immediately! We never thought we’d be ringing in the new year this way!
What does adding Owen to your family of three mean to you?
Owen completes our little family! 2020 has obviously been a hard year for many, but getting pregnant and having him six hours before the year ended made this year a great one for us! We are so excited to watch him grow in the coming days, months, and years, but becoming a mom and dad to Owen has definitely become our favorite new roles in life!
Describe Owen’s personality.
Owen is such a snuggly baby and we hope this never changes! He is very curious and only likes to look out when he’s held so he can see objects and follow sounds. Oh, and did I mention the kid has lungs?!
