The joy of new life is being celebrated by this family. The way big brother held his new little brother will melt your heart. The way the adoring cousins held their new baby cousin was beyond precious. The way Mom looked so adoringly at her baby’s precious face, tells a story of deep love. And the way Dad touched his face to the tiny little one he held tells you he’s already so proud to be a Daddy again. Even the dog, Allie, has a special place in this family!
Meet little Rana! Their family has won me over with sweetness and cute babies. Over two years ago, I photographed big brother when he was born. And you recently saw this family’s maternity session right here too! It is such a joy to be a part of these special moments for them.
They are all doing well as they adjust to life with two kiddos. I jokingly asked Mom and Dad if they are “pros” with baby boy #2 since they’ve been through this all before. It’s gotta be a piece of cake when you know what you’re doing, right!? Weeeeellll, not exactly. They honestly admitted that life with a toddler AND a newborn is a much different experience (and much harder) than the first time around. Yes, they are right. Remembering back to my own second child, I will agree. I think we would all relate to feelings of joy, happiness, and it being hard… all at the same time. But it does get easier, and for that I am grateful. That is, until they are teenagers. <wink>
To this precious family, I wish you many congratulations! Rana is adorable. I hope you will always remember his first weeks of life with happiness.
