Their four sweet kids have grown since their last session. The L Family is back and I’m overjoyed! They braved the freezing COLD and did amazing! I’ve know the L’s for quite some time now, and if there’s one thing I can say about what I see in their family is that there is a lot of love for each other. Their oldest is in college, and I’m sure this bunch enjoyed the time he spent at home with them over the recent break. I think you’ll enjoy Mom’s elaboration on who these six are to one another!
How long have you been married?
We’ve been married for 24 years.
What does your family of six enjoy doing together?
We enjoy traveling together, serving in ministry together, and eating culturally different foods.
What makes you guys laugh?
We laugh at ourselves mostly, we don’t limit topics so sometimes they can be tmi and those conversations are funny. Some of us may have a limited filter.
What is the best family vacation you ever took?
Each of us would choose a different one. We have traveled to forty six states together and eight countries, so that’s a lot of vacation memories to choose just one. Our road trips probably top the list. We love the time together and inevitably they turn into “food-cations”, and lots of sibling squabbles.
Describe what your family means to you.
My family gives purpose. Purpose to smile when you can’t. Purpose to move forward when you don’t want to. Purpose to try again when you want to quit. Purpose for community because it’s not all about me. Purpose to hope because they need you to. Purpose to love because they are a gift, a gift from God.
