She’s all grown up! This is Everly (pronounced EVER-LEE as in “happily EVER after” – thanks for that helpful way to remember it, dad). She celebrated her first birthday recently and I was overjoyed to be a part of helping her and her family remember it, and to capture her at this sweet, fun age.

I image life has become full of wonder, and excitement for this family as they watch Everly experience the world around her. She’s gone from baby to “big girl” quickly and what she once couldn’t do, now she is learning to do all on her own. Like walking!
I image the world for a one year old is big, and there’s much to experience that she hasn’t seen before. But her familiar home and her adoring family is what holds her heart. She loves to be loved, and that she has in abundance. To be held is her place of comfort and security, and she’s learning that her family will always be there. Her happy place is with them, and she can think of nothing better!
Happy Birthday, Everly! I hope that you will look back on your one year old pictures when you are grown and see the joyful, happy, and carefree life that was once yours. I hope you will carry that into childhood and beyond. Enjoy your sneak peek!
