Newborn + Sibling Photography in Highlands Ranch, Colorado | Audrey

One of my greatest joys is repeat clients, and especially newborns who I had the privilege of photographing their older sibling(s).  Meet Audrey!  She’s just as beautiful as her sister was at this age.  This family has become a favorite of mine (shhh… don’t tell).  In fact, that adoring sister of Audrey’s who is snuggling her close is on my homepage from back when she was a newborn!  Look for the baby girl with dark hair laying in a basket on flowered, neutral earth tones.  Those newborn pictures from two and a half years ago still have me swooning.  Little Audrey is loved by her family and mom took some time to tell me more.

Describe your pregnancy.  Did she arrive early/late or on time?

She was only 4 days early so I consider that right on time. I was pretty sick my whole pregnancy and near the end I just couldn’t wait for her to be here. Which I am sure is the same feeling every mom has.

Tell me a little about the day she was born/your delivery.

I delivered at Skyridge in lone tree. Monday I was just absolutely exhausted by the time I left work. When my husband got home that night I told him I felt like she was coming. Sure enough, Tuesday at 3am the contractions started. I labored at home for as long as possible and told my husband to just go to work and I would text him when I was ready. We got to the hospital and three hours later she was born at 6:28 pm. She came out healthy and as loud as can be!

What does adding Audrey to your family of four mean to you?

Adding Audrey to the family is such a blessing. My husband and I have always wanted a large family and love that it is growing. Eva is such a wonderful big sister which has made the transition smooth.

Describe her personality.

Isn’t it amazing seeing the different personalities in babies? Audrey has been such a firecracker baby. She keeps a high pitched scream in her back pocket for the times you don’t give her what she needs in the first 10 seconds. She can hold her head up well and all the nurses called her Houdini since she would always wiggle her way out of her swaddle immediately. No one is keeping this little girl down!

M Family, you are adorable, and I’m looking forward to the next family pictures and all the sweet babies that are still yet to come.  Enjoy your sneak peek!
