Meet Paislie! This adorable bundle of sweetness was eleven days old for her picture debut. I asked if Paislie has any nicknames yet. Her parents call her PJ, short for “Paislie Jo”. FOR REAL!? I am soooooo in love! Her cute name, beautiful head of hair, olive skin and sweet face could not be any more adorable! It was an honor to help celebrate her first days of life. Although mom and dad now know the sleeplessness that comes with a newborn, their love has been awakened to depths they never knew possible. It is this very love that compels us to care for our little ones, sacrificing in big ways to give them everything they need (yes, even at two o’clock in the morning). This same love watches them grow, mends boo-boos, comforts every cry, and prepares them for that scary day when mama bird has to push them out of the nest in hopes that they are ready to fly on their own. For Paislie and her family, I hope every day together is treasured and that the joys in parenthood far outweigh the challenges. Your little one is oh, so sweet!
