On a cold Tuesday in January, this mama and papa’s world collided with a unexpected love, so much deeper than they ever imaged. Little Hudson was born at 7.4 pounds and measured 21 inches long. At a mere eleven days he had his second debut (yes, his first was in the womb – see it here). Although sleep is now a luxury, D & A, I hope you are able to cherish every cry you tend, every diaper you change, every single moment of his young growing life. The days will turn into years and suddenly you won’t know where the time went. But for today, may the joy overshadow the difficulty and may the wonder of the miracle warm you down to the deepest places of your heart.
