Meet Mr. James! This precious 8 pound, one week old little one has stolen the heart of his family. Big brother, B, has filled his new big brother role well as he takes it upon himself to protect his little brother. I adore the love we captured and enjoyed seeing this sweet family, once three, now grown to four. The nights don’t ever seem as long as in those first weeks – but mommy has already experienced first hand how this time is so-so-so fleeting and knows to treasure every moment, even the difficult ones. I read recently a wonderful reminder that I will put into my own words here. If you have dishes in the sink, you can be thankful for the food you’ve eaten. If you have laundry piles awaiting you, you can be thankful for the clothing your family wears (yes, there are so many around the world who have so very little). If you have floors to be cleaned, you can be thankful for all the coming and goings of your busy household, which one day may not be so busy in an empty sort of way. If you have sleepless nights (this one I’ll add for James’ mommy) you can be thankful for the heartbeat and breath of the ones you get to hold, sooth and rock while they are little. One day they suddenly don’t need you anymore and your heart will be glad for all those years they did (trust me!) Precious little James and family, here is your sneak peek… enjoy!!!
