Every so often, as a photographer, I get to be a part of something so far beyond special, it leaves a lump in my throat. While these moments are certainly bitter/sweet, it is my greatest pleasure to introduce you to an incredibly amazing little guy. Meet Preston, and his family. On January 11, 2016, five year old Preston was hit by a car. Miraculously, he survived 10-15 minutes without air and three severe brain injuries. Preston’s journey to recovery is covered in more prayer than we may ever know, and so many friends and loved ones who have rallied around this sweet family during the most sorrowful and difficult days of their lives. Although Preston’s recovery is not over, we celebrated life and love and the joy of family on this gorgeous summer night. Preston was so sweet as we sang songs and he looked directly into the camera for his protrait! His brothers and sisters got to be in the spotlight too – and Preston’s nurse even joined us (you’ll see her with Preston!)
It is my privilege to unveil your sneak peek, Preston and family. I’m cheering you on and praying for increasingly more miracles of recovery and for much rejoicing in place of your sorrow.
