I have been unable to contain my excitement over the honor I had to be a part of this adorable couple’s wedding. This weekend I had the privilege of assisting my dear photographer friend (thank you for confidence in me, Cija!) with her nephew’s wedding, who I happen to have known from the time he was quite young. Many will know I have wanted to stay far away from the pressure that exists in the world of wedding photography. I will admit, the day of the wedding I grew personally as a photographer. I didn’t know what I was missing and the special moments that could be forever preserved, as seen through my eyes and perspective. There were moments of tears as I watched through the lens of my camera, rejoicing in this union of two becoming one. There were moments of joy as I observed their young love, knowing that it will deepen over time but they will always look back on this day as the treasured beginning. I wouldn’t be honest if I said it was all roses. The task was not an easy one, but the challenge made a lasting impact on me. Thank you, Mr. & Mrs. K for the honor you entrusted to me to be there every minute of this wonderful day. I hope you enjoy this “little” sneak peek!!
