Happy National Twin Day! I’ve had seven twin photography sessions this year! A couple of them were repeats with multiple sessions. I looked back on my blog to be sure I didn’t miss a single one and thought you may have fun doing that too!

I’m not the only person who is fascinated by twins. It seems to be the intrigue of many onlookers who wonder what life is like as a twin. If you’re a twin, I’d like to know if you ever get tired of people staring, or strangers asking so many prodding questions, everywhere you go. <wink> Are you twins…? Are you identical…? How do you feel about being away from each other…? Whose older…? Whose taller…?
We have identical twin nieces in our family who are twelve. So I get to observe the special relationship and uniqueness of being a twin. My nieces would tell you that since they don’t know what life is like NOT being a twin, they probably couldn’t describe to you how it may be different from being a single like the rest of us.
I don’t want to leave out celebrating the rest of the triplets, quads, and the other multiples today. Maybe I will get the honor of photographing some of these special sibling sets this upcoming year! That would be incredible! It does remind me of the quadruplet newborn session I was a part of back in 2018 which was so much fun!! You can visit that session here.
