Meet baby Landon and his sweet family. I’ve adored getting to know them and helping document some of the most incredible milestones in their lives! Tell me about the anticipation of his arrival.
In 2019, his sister was born early so we were anticipating his arrival but hoping he could make it to full term. Luckily he did make it to full term.
How was your NICU experience?
It was a long process and we knew we were in the best hands possible at Children’s Hospital. There were lots of ups and downs but we felt blessed to spend many uninterrupted days with him and that he was overall very healthy.
What does adding Landon to your family of four mean to you?
It is hard to imagine adding another little one to the family but he just fits so seamlessly. His sister absolutely adores him and takes any opportunity she can to give him a hug or a kiss.
Describe his personality.
Landon is a fighter. While in the womb, he always had his fists up like a boxer. Little did we know that he would need that strong, resilient personality to overcome the challenges early in his life.
How much did he weigh at birth? 7 pounds, one ounce.
