Senior Portraits in Littleton, Colorado | Arianna

If you have ever wondered what a student who is homeschooled her whole life looks like, this young lady right here is going to make you proud!  She’s beautiful, bold, talented, loving, musical, and filled with deep thoughts and ideas.  Meet Arianna!  She’s been through a LOT, and especially her senior year of high school.  She’s now on her way toward graduation along with the class of 2020, with all the amazing celebrations that come with it!

What are you passionate about?

I love the Lord Jesus Christ first and foremost and what HE’s done for me and my family. I love things deep and beautiful and I find music (from listening to my favorites to playing piano and cello) fulfills that empty space for me where I both glean from the world and contribute to it.  I love new ideas, deep thoughts, and finding things to make the good in the world stick out (like books, movies, and the way my family grooves).

I’m also passionate about learning because my Mom taught us to LOVE learning: from reading Dr. Seuss TO us, to reading about Napoleon and Charlemagne WITH us, to opening us up to a world of growing that I absolutely ADORE.  Thanks, Mom!

Do you have any thoughts on what you’d like to do after you graduate?

I want to serve the Lord with my life and I’m excited to see where HE takes me.  I’m leaning towards studying to get a music degree and would love to keep learning and travel.

What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

Hmm, lots to pick from. I would say the first time I held every one of my siblings were my FAVORITE moments on earth.  Another one would be when we’ve had a sad day (if a family pet died or we missed a loved one), and we bring out the ole’ family tapes and watch old home movies starting when me and my closest sis were super tiny and through the years of princess tea parties with Mom and trampoline tumbles with Dad and the good old family dog as a puppy.  We shared a love of these tapes so much that we seemed to get closer just by watching them.

Tell me one thing you’re proud you’ve accomplished.

Thirteen years of piano lessons that led to a growing love of all instruments and music and especially the ability to teach piano better than I thought I knew it for myself.

If you could tell your younger self one thing, what would it be?

There were times when I was frustrated, angry, overwhelmed, and terribly sad about the change going on around me when I was younger, but I should’ve known there was a greater plan.  I’d probably tell my lil’ me to trust the Lord more because HE gave us a better life than my future self could ever see coming.  HE entrusted my family with planting a church, raising a farm, and adopting two lil’s.  We have more love and wonder here in this home than I can comprehend and we owe it all to our Savior’s love.

Blessings to you, Arianna!  I love your contagious zeal and wish you all the best in your future!
