Sweet “Papa” is adored and joined by this family for their second session with me. It was delightful to see them back after their adorable session last fall, which you can see here. Despite all the challenges life brings, they are full of support and love which is all you can ask for in a family.

How old is your little guy?
3.5 years old (his emphasis, not ours!)
What makes him laugh?
He loves to trick us and bursts into laughter whenever he thinks he’s got the upper hand. He also loves to make up silly songs and will never say no to being tickled or chased.
What does your family enjoy doing together?
We love to take advantage of seasonal activities – the Renaissance Faire in the summer, pumpkin patches in the fall, German christmas markets in the winter, and lots of outdoors hiking in the spring! Mathias has also recently become very interested in science and engineering, so we are taking advantage of the amazing museums in the areas so that he can channel this enthusiasm.
What are some of the things you will look back on this season of life with fondness?
We’ve had some challenges this season, and so we’ve all had to be flexible and recognize that we’re all doing our best. We will definitely look back on this time and appreciate the love, kindness, and support that we all showed each other. Even when some days have been difficult, we’ve all been together and that’s what matters the most.
Describe what your family means to you.
For us, we are each other’s reasons and whys. Everything we do is so that each of us can grow into our best selves.
