The air was crisp and the snow was falling when Laura and Steven met. The sounds of the crowd cheering for their high school football team were no distraction to their playful banter. Never perceiving that they may be finding love among rows of library shelves, stacks of books and AP classes, their friendship began to grow. Soon they would find themselves at prom together and eventually their high school graduation. Although distance separated them as they traveled very far apart to schools on opposite coasts, they grew closer and closer, realizing the deep love that was being stirred up inside of them.
It was my privilege to capture a few moments of the recent climax to their beautiful love story: their union as husband and wife on their wedding day. The exchange of vows and the promises they made to one another were full of sincere worship and heartfelt prayer. It was truly a specular portrayal of their lives, their devotion to their Savior, to one another and the love of their family and friends that came to celebrate. I couldn’t resist sharing a few of my favorite moments with my readers. I think you will agree that their love seems almost contagious. May the Lord bless you, Steven and Laura!
