Baby Blake is their second miracle. Their two beautiful children are so very loved, and the privilege of caring for them means that much more because there was a time they didn’t think they’d be able to have any. Although Mom had some challenges that caused little Blake to arrive early, we knew it in advanced and scheduled his session for his due date. It was perfect!

Tell me about the anticipation of his arrival.
Blake’s arrival came early at 37 weeks. He just wanted to greet the world!
How was your delivery experience?
Delivery was a scheduled c-section on a Friday afternoon at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Our doctor, Robert Wester, M.D. was amazing as always!
What does adding Blake to your family mean to you?
To be honest, A and I didn’t think it was going to be possible to have and be blessed with a second child. So adding Blake was truly a second miracle.
Describe his personality.
So far, Blake is extremely chill. As most boys go, he loves to eat and is packing on the pounds so happily.
How much did he weigh at birth?
Blake weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 19 inches long. We were very concerned that he’d have to go to the NICU for a few days based on coming so early. Many prayers were answered when he was able to stay by my side the whole time.
Blake and family, your story fills my heart with happiness and I already can’t wait to watch Baby Blake grow as a Baby Plan member. I’ll see you again this summer, little one. Until then, try to keep the pace slow as you grow.
