In-Home Baby Milk Bath and One Year Old Smash Cake pictures in Parker, Colorado | Emma

She couldn’t be any cuter! Meet Emma. She’s celebrating her first birthday next month, and I’m so excited to help her family remember this sweet milestone. Who wouldn’t want a yummy chocolate cake in honor of an upcoming birthday, and a rose pedal bath to wash it all off? Emma loved her session and I’m in love with the outcome. This family is a very special one–the creme de la crop! I think you’ll get a glimpse into their lives and why I would say that when you read what mom had to say about her Emma and her family.

What are Emma’s favorite things to do?

Emma loves reading with dad, bath time with mom, and wrestling with her older sisters. She also enjoys music and playing with her activity table.

What makes her laugh?

Emma finds her two sisters to be the funniest people in the world. Her squeals and excitement echo through the house when they play together.

Tell me about how you plan to celebrate her first birthday.

We will be celebrating Ms. Emma with a party with our extended family. While the theme is to be determined, we want something that honors her bright disposition and love of life!

What are some of her recent milestones?

Emma is constantly on the move. As the youngest, she takes her job to keep up with her older sisters very seriously. She recently learned how to climb up the stairs and is experimenting with standing unassisted.

What is it like to be a mom to this sweet little girl?

Emma means “My God has answered.”

We were in the middle of adopting a little one with Down syndrome from Ukraine when the war broke out. We were completely heartbroken. Three months after our adoption came to a standstill, Ms. Emma surprised us. The Lord’s timing is truly perfect! She has felt like such a tremendous answer to prayer as we are in this season of waiting. Emma is sweet, smiley and oh so sassy! We adore our littlest princess and truly couldn’t imagine our lives without her!

What a wonderful surprise Emma is, and I imagine the Lord will fill these longing hearts for a down syndrome adoption when the time is right. Emma and family, enjoy your sneak peek!
