A short eighteen months ago I captured their first newborn in their home. Now, their hearts are full once again. Meet baby Eli! He’s little brother to N, who you’ve seen here a bunch. I could link back to N’s maternity, newborn, sitter, or one year session. However, I’ll let Eli keep the spotlight and show you Eli’s maternity session this spring. Click here to take a look. It’s been the biggest honor to be a part of this family’s life and help them remember such joy filled milestones with gorgeous pictures.
Here’s more about Eli in this conversation I had with Mom:
Tell me about the anticipation of his arrival.
We anticipated Eli’s arrival from the day we found out we were expecting. We went through IVF for our first son, so Eli is our sweet surprise! The anticipation of going from 1 to 2 was a lot, but so far, it’s been easier than we expected!
How was your delivery experience?
My delivery experience was fast and furious! My water broke at 11:30 a.m., labor started around 4 p.m., and Eli was here at 6 p.m. Everything went smoothly (besides my midwife not having time to change into scrubs and she was wearing white pants that day, haha!), and it was overall a beautiful experience.
What does adding Eli to your family of four mean to you?
Adding Eli to our family means extra love and joy in our lives every single day. We look forward to showing him the world with our other son, N!
Describe his personality.
Eli has been such a chill baby (knock on wood!). He certainly isn’t afraid to let us know when he’s hungry, though!
How much did he weigh at birth?
Eli weighed 7lb 14 oz at birth.
Eli and family, many congratulations to you all. You have a beautiful family, and I can’t wait to see baby Eli for The Baby Plan!
