All eight pounds, ten ounces of baby Hayden’s precious beginnings will be forever remembered by his family. His dad is a fighter pilot in the military, and he works for a commercial airlines too. Naturally, Hayden’s adorable aviator themed nursery helped to welcome him home, and I adore the pictures of daddy in his flight suit holding Hayden! Their sweet pup, Ellie, also joined the celebrations as a proud member of this growing family.
Here’s more about little Hayden from his mom:
Tell me about the anticipation of his arrival.
We anticipated his arrival well before he was conceived. D and I always knew we wanted to be parents and it didn’t come easy for us. After fertility treatment and lots of prayers we were finally pregnant with our sweet boy. It was no coincidence that when we first found out Hayden’s due date, it was the same date as my dad’s last full day on earth with us after losing his battle to cancer. His middle name “Thomas” is after his guardian angel, Papa Tom.
How was your delivery experience?
Hayden caught us by surprise, at our 38 week check up we were admitted to the hospital and started the induction process on 11/4. In short it was a very traumatic experience for D and I; after 60 hours of labor, ended in a c-section. Hayden arrived at 6:00am on 11/7 which was the blessing we had eagerly and tirelessly been anticipating.
What does adding Hayden to your family of three mean to you?
Hayden is our first child, making D a dad and me a mom! There is no greater joy than adding him to our family. We look forward to traveling together and introducing him to some of our favorite places.
Describe his personality
Hayden is a low key sweet baby who loves to eat, sleep and look at the lights around him. He gives mom and dad a big grin after eating and it won’t be long before his eyes are tracking his big sister Ellie, our 2 year old Goldendoodle.
Welcome little Hayden! Enjoy your sneak peek!!
