“It’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our life that matters.” Family is built on nothing less than love and sacrifice. This beautiful family has lived that truth this year. Miles cannot separate their love, even though they’ve been apart through work travels. I had the privilege of spending a long awaited, treasured evening with them during a short but sweet homecoming that will last only a couple of weeks before they will say their goodbyes once again. I know the timing is perfect for this reuniting and glad that the everyday moments can still be shared through modern technology when dad is away.
