The summer winds blew and love was in the air when their worlds collided.  Meet the K’s!  These two parents-to-be met online, which is an increasingly popular cupid for matches made in heaven.  When they are able, they like to travel and enjoy new restaurants together.  As they set sail on this journey of parenthood, the joy and anticipation to see and meet their little guy is one gigantic wave of emotions.  One moment contains excitement and the next feels a little scary to be embarking on such a big task.  Mommy already calls him her “little monster”.  He’s very active in the womb and likes to move around at night.  When I asked what they are most looking forward to when they finally meet him, mommy said: “Looking at his little face of what my husband and I created and what God blessed us with.”  The moment their gaze falls on that sweet face is the moment in time when love will explode.  It is intriguing to consider this kind of love.  Before it dawns in someone’s life, one may think they know what love is… what it is not… how it feels.  After all, most have been madly in love by this time in their lives.  But this love is different.  It is deeper.  It is a love that knows no bounds.  It has never met its equal in all of history.  It’s the love of a parent.  Nothing can stop this love, not even death.  Instinctively, most would give their own lives for their child if it were ever required.  This is the kind of love this mommy and daddy are about to find.  To hold him, to kiss him and to finally rock him will be the beginning of a life long journey that requires so much, gives so much and in the end is worth it all.
K Family, it is an honor to help document this special moment of anticipation in your lives.  I hope every second of the long wait is treasured. Enjoy your sneak peek!
